KSAA Championship Information
The Kent Schools’ Track and Field 2024 Championships takes place on Saturday June 8th.

Please note there will be a £5 entry fee for each athlete when they register on the day.

This is a District based event with entries being made via affiliated schools through District Coordinators. This can be either through direct nominations or district trails.

The venue for the championships is:
Medway Park Sports Centre
Mill Road
Gillingham
Kent ME7 1HF

The Championships are open to all pupils attending a KSAA affiliated school that are in:
Year 7 (Limited events only)
Year 8/9 (Juniors)
Year 10/11(intermediates)
Year 12/13 (Seniors) Steeplechase and Race Walks Only

Athletes are allowed to enter two events only, with the exception of 800m, 1500m and Walks where only one event may be entered. Also, athletes must have at least achieved the district standard in order to compete in their nominated event. See link to standards below

English Schools AA Championships 2024
The English Schools T&F 2024 Championships takes place on 12th/13th July at Alexander Stadium, Birmingham.

Kent Schools AA can take a team of 70 athletes to the championships. The selection criteria for the ESAA Championships can be found here.

NB: Year 7s cannot compete at the ESAA Champs.

Because of exams Senior athletes can qualify for the ESAA champs via other routes. A Senior nomination form must be filled if the athlete wishes to be considered for selection. Download the form below.

Senior Steeplechase and Race Walks are included at the KSAA Champs, because of restricted racing opportunities. Entry for these events is via school or directly to ijkl.presnell@btopenworld.com  

ESAA District Entry and National and Standards
These year’s ESAA standards can be found below. All athletes must have at least achieved the district standard in order to compete in their nominated event at the KSAA championships.
